The challenge before Sera

Honeytomatoes' intense sweetness comes from pushing the plant to its limits — high-EC irrigation, precise climate control, and dozens of interconnected variables across the growing cycle. The same conditions that produce that flavour also make the crop unusually sensitive: high sugar content puts the fruit under constant osmotic pressure and leaves the skin thinner and more delicate, so shifts that would be harmless in a standard tomato crop can compromise quality here. Irrigation timing, substrate moisture, transpiration, light, temperature, and nutrient uptake all interact — a decision made at 5:00am can have consequences that only surface three to four weeks later. Traditional monitoring shows each variable in isolation, not the causal chains connecting them, so a dashboard can read normal across the board while the crop is silently accumulating stress.
