The data was there. Using it well was the problem.
Twin Creeks tracked everything carefully. Sera answers the question the record never does: what should change, right now.
Twin Creeks Farms
About
Pepper greenhouse, Canada.
People
Matt, grower. Mike, owner.
Engagement
Sera's greenhouse intelligence platform, started 2026 — answering "is what we're doing right now correct, and if not, what should change?" directly, rather than requiring the grower to build that answer from records themselves.

The challenge before Sera
Twin Creeks already had real analytical rigour: climate data tracked carefully, system performance reviewed, a head grower who knew the operation in detail. The gap wasn't access to data — it was the time and effort it took to use that data well at the exact moment a decision was on the table. Building the case for a change before acting, and working out whether an observed pattern warranted a response at all, meant every call was made carefully but took longer than it should have.
How Sera helps
Starting in 2026, Twin Creeks began working with Sera's greenhouse intelligence platform. Instead of starting with data and working toward a conclusion, the head grower now starts with the question that actually needs answering — is the current approach correct, and if not, what should change? — and Sera draws on climate records, crop history, and current conditions to answer that specific question directly. When a setpoint change looks warranted, Sera proposes it for the grower to review. The grower decides; Sera doesn't run the greenhouse.
"If I'm looking at a climate pattern and want to know whether it's worth changing the screening strategy, I can ask that directly and get a proper answer. That's different from building the same picture myself from the logs."

The results
Minutes, not hours
Scenario checks that used to require significant cross-referencing now take minutes.
Context, included
Proposed setpoint changes arrive with the crop history behind them already attached, not as a bare recommendation to investigate.
Grower decides
Sera proposes the setpoint change — the platform doesn't run the greenhouse.
